This is an elevated courtyard swimming pool built on a hillside in Winston-Salem, NC. The client, a custom home builder referred to us by Earth Graphics Land Design, came to us with a plan of where he wanted the pool and the shape he wanted. We made a few suggestions on function, and adding a tanning shelf and bubbler to inject some life and additional use to the pool, and designed the project to fit their space.
The pool has a pebble tec interior finish and uses Savi LED underwater lights as well as a Savi Bubbler. All pump, pool automation and filters are Jandy equipment installed by our staff. Clearwater is a Jandy Pro Edge Builder and as such we offer extended warranty on equipment. Additionally, this pool also has an automated ph and chlorine monitoring system installed for ease and convenience.
All decking and coping is Travertine. We like the use of travertine as it is less slippery when wet and cool to walk on, even in the dog days of the North Carolina summer heat. We have a full time staff of craftsmen at Clearwater that fabricate custom copings and stair treads so it is a natural material of choice for projects like this.
